No account, no sign-up. **Status:** Open beta. ## What it does LetsJustMeet solves the problem that the exact geographic midpoint between two addresses is often unfair. Roads, rivers, motorways and traffic mean the literal middle can be a 20-minute drive for one person and 5 for another. Instead of a single midpoint, LetsJustMeet works in **travel time**: 1. It maps the whole area each person can reach within a travel time they choose (an isochrone). 2. It finds where all of those areas overlap. 3. Anywhere inside that overlap is reachable by everyone. The distinguishing feature is that **each person's travel time is adjustable independently**. If one person will travel 25 minutes and another only 10, those are set separately, and the shared area reshapes immediately. ## How to use it 1. Enter two or more starting points. A city uses its centre point; a full street address uses that exact location. The two can be mixed. 2. Adjust each person's travel-time slider (1–60 minutes). 3. Choose a place from the overlapping area. Enter both and find the places worth stopping in between. ## Limits - Travel budgets are capped at 60 minutes per person. - If the budgets are too small to overlap, no meeting area exists until someone's budget is raised. - As a free beta, LetsJustMeet runs on a fixed monthly lookup budget. If that's reached, the app says so and resumes at the start of the next month; cached results keep working meanwhile. ## FAQ ### How do you find the halfway point between two addresses? Enter each address — a city or a full street address — and LetsJustMeet places a point at the geographic midpoint between them. Yes, and that's the problem LetsJustMeet is built around. The exact midpoint ignores traffic, rivers, motorways and one-way systems, so one person can face a far longer trip. Instead of a single point, the app maps the area each person can reach within a travel time you set, then shows where those areas overlap. Anywhere in that overlap works for everybody. ### Can I change how far each person is willing to travel? That's the core feature. Every location gets its own travel-time slider. Third places — cafés, restaurants, libraries, bars and parks — pulled from OpenStreetMap. You can filter by category, and fast food is kept as its own category and never offered as the recommended spot. ### Can I use a city instead of a full street address? Yes. Type a city and LetsJustMeet uses its centre point; type a street address and it uses that exact location.
